Foot-Joy has really
done it this time with their X-Dimension golf shoe. They’ve come out
with a well-designed athletic style golf shoe that looks great and is
very comfortable.
The
last time I tried a Foot-Joy athletic style shoe was 2 years ago and the
shoe had the “ring” system. While the concept of different rings for
varying course conditions was an interesting idea it turned out to be a
great idea for the ones selling you the new sets of rings. What a
hassle to change and they were constantly falling out. When those shoes
first came out I was constantly finding my rings and everyone else’s all
over the course. Thank goodness the X-Dimension shoe comes with the
Fast Twist™ Insert System and Black Widow™ cleats by Softspikes®. They
are easy to change and they stay put. After wearing these shoes all
summer I have not lost a spike. The X-Dimension is also a durable
shoe. After a season of golf (I play at least twice a week) there is no
noticeable wear. They also provide good support while making a golf
swing. There is no sliding in these shoes. The X-Dimension also
comes with a 2-Year waterproof guarantee.
An
issue I had in the past with Foot-Joy athletic style shoes was the
tongue and the way it would tend to creep down the side of your foot.
This was uncomfortable and very annoying to me. It just doesn’t happen
with the X-Dimension shoe. The tongue stays put. Probably the best
thing about the X-Dimension shoe is the way your feet feel after walking
18. I don’t think I’ve ever owned any shoe, golf or any other type of
shoe, that felt as good as the X-Dimension after wearing and walking for
5 hours.
The
look of the X-Dimension is great if you like the athletic style shoe.
In the summer when I can wear shorts I appreciate the way a
well-designed shoe like this looks. I don’t want play golf in the
summer and look like I forgot to take off my dress shoes. If you are
