Shopping: A Man’s
Point of View
Okay
now, line up, big shoulder turn and swing. The ball is flying high and
straight. Come on now “be the right club”. Yes it’s close…I can make
that birdie putt! Whoa now, don’t forget that I am not playing
golf at my favorite course but I am here with my wife at the mall.
I guess
it’s easy for us men to let our minds wander during the seemingly
endless hours spent shopping with our better halves. You must realize
that I really don’t mind shopping myself as I know many men do, but come
on, it only takes a minute or two to look at clothes in one store and
move on to the next. I mean, really, 1 hour looking and trying on
clothes. Now I could understand if we where at 
Sportmart or
Circuit City, but clothes!
I look
around and see other men trudging through the mall carrying the various
bags of the many retailers and boy they don’t look all that happy. I’ll
bet that some of them are daydreaming of other pursuits as they follow
behind their wives. But look at the women here. They appear to be as
happy as can be. They are definitely in their zone. After all what
self-respecting woman wouldn’t be. What better use of time then
Shopping!
I guess
that with the advent of the Internet and growing popularity of Online
Shopping many a man must give a sigh of relief when their wife goes
shopping online! Some just benefit from technology more than others.
